Glossary: Design-Build Services

In a design-build engagement, the builder is responsible for all work on the project (sometimes known as the “master builder” approach). The builder is able to engage with the customer at the design stage, which can offer advantages in the form of time savings (less back-and-forth between a homeowner, builder, and architect or designer) and a more streamlined estimating process.
